Activist leader for AINU's PR/ Marketing team

Amnesty International Network Utrecht (AINU) is looking for activists who like to be part of our PR/ Marketing team. This is a voluntary position, with an average workload of 3-4 hours per week.

AINU is a group of like-minded people who contribute locally, here in Utrecht, to global action against human rights violations, in line with Amnesty International's campaigns in the Netherlands. We organize events to raise awareness of local human rights violations, we make an impact locally and we facilitate opportunities for our activists to develop their leadership.

Our PR/ marketing group leader responsibilities are as follows: 

1. The team is responsible for developing the communication strategy of AINU’s.
2. Develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and social media content
3. Promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate social channels
4. Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
5. Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with Amnesty standards
6. Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos 
7. Work to conceptualise and implement communications strategies and campaigns
8. Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve Amnesty’s digital identity in all publications.
9. Start and maintain good relations with the local and national media channels,

Who are you?

●     You know how to motivate people to fight for human rights.

●     You have a previous experience in communication, media, pr and/or marketing.

●     As an asset: You have experience in working for human rights / women rights.
