Let the Railway Museum come to life

The nicest museum in the Netherlands is looking for volunteers who can make our collection shine. If you are interested in rail, you have two right hands and you think it is important that visitors get a top experience, please contact us.

The Railway Museum is proud of its volunteers. We are very grateful that we have a long tradition of people willing to help us. Places have now become available in our team: we are looking for volunteers, among others, who want to immerse themselves in our technology collection. This includes, for example, our signal box with classic mechanical installation and our turntable. Experience is certainly not a requirement, but enthusiasm and the will to learn are.

What will you do: demonstrate, maintain, clean, repair.

WE SEARCH:

• People who want to demonstrate our collection. For example, you learn what a signalman used to do and you show this to our visitors.
• People who want to maintain our collection. For example, you ensure that a switch remains operational, or that the turntable looks tip-top.
