Do you have a passion for outdoor sports and in particular skating and skating?

Do you enjoy meeting the whole of Overvecht at the ice rink on a beautiful winter day?

Do you want to work with passionate and expert?

Develop yourself and also like to contribute to skating in all seasons?

As of November 2021, we are looking for a general board member for Ice Club Siberia.

The current chairman and treasurer need support in organizing the outdoor parties in Utrecht Overvecht.

The main tasks are the development, implementation and safeguarding of our motto: Ice Club Siberia, that warms you up!

To give concrete direction to this, IJsclub Siberia in collaboration with. the KNSB has formed ambitions within the strategic course till 2028 when it comes to the absence of natural ice and the role of innovation.

This will be dealt with jointly and we would like to see the general board members think along and act in this.

You provide guidance and are the connecting factor within Ice Club Siberia. In consultation with fellow board members and volunteers, you determine the policy and partly implement it.

You also represent the interests of the natural ice association. Visiting the supporters during a regional meeting ensures that you know what is going on and what is going on.

You work closely with the other members of Ice Club Siberia.

Finally, you can take a critical look at current patterns and working methods and we jointly determine how to join forces.

We do not judge you on your skating qualities in order to fulfill this position. It is of course nice if you are just as enthusiastic about our outdoor parties and everything that comes with it as we are!

As a general board member you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

• You already bring some work experience with you, preferably in an organizational position.

• You know how to keep an overview of the big picture, you are connecting (Peaceful Neighborhood) and you know how to determine the right strategy in consultation.
