What started in the community center of Wijk C as a private photo collection with mostly recorded stories and memories, has grown over the past 25 years into Het Volksbuurtmuseum, located in the heart of the city of Utrecht. In addition to a permanent display that provides a lively picture of life in a working-class neighborhood around 1900, there are changing exhibitions.

Supervisor of school groups

A large part of our audience consists of students from education. We develop suitable, inspiring programs for this large target group. They visit the museum on Monday or Wednesday as part of school. As a supervisor you receive and guide the students. There is a lot of room for creativity and personal input in this volunteer position. Team spirit is important in a relatively small organization.

We are looking for a candidate who

• is available during the week, especially on Mondays or Wednesdays.
• has good social skills and sense of responsibility
• preferably living in Utrecht.
