Coordinator Volunteer Dress for Success

Do you have experience working with and guiding volunteers? Then this position might be a challenging and inspiring job for you.

Tasks

· Volunteer policy: ensuring that protocols and agreements are clear and in order: about receiving and selecting donations, receiving and dressing customers, what is possible and what is not; looking for alternatives for various matters (e.g. rules regarding COVID-19)

· Recruitment and selection: Contact volunteer center; posting vacancies (for example at a volunteer centre); volunteer introductory meetings (accept or reject);

· Supervision of progress interviews with volunteers (1 x per year); conversations with volunteers about the state of affairs or problems in cooperation. Organize training (themed afternoon). Keeping volunteers' birthdays; Volunteers celebrate: eg Sinterklaas and Christmas gifts volunteers, season opening and Christmas drink.

· Coordination and consultation: keeping volunteers informed of developments; Preparing and chairing volunteer meetings, reporting; Create a schedule (monthly); in the event of illness: contact about the schedule, finding and calling in substitutes.

Team spirit

Running a store together requires flexibility, team spirit

and sense of responsibility. In addition, it is important that you

have a positive attitude, know how to put people at ease, can adapt

to the wishes of the customer, can speak and understand Dutch well and feedback

can give and receive.

There are volunteer meetings with the whole team, to

to make appointments, but also for fun. Furthermore you can as

volunteer at Dress for Success count on support from the

manager.

With the manager of Dress for Success you have of course

regular consultation. They will support you in various matters.

You do the work quite independently.

As a volunteer coordinator you work flexibly in the store.

The store's opening hours are currently:

Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,

Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,

Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m

Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The intention is that you will be at least during one per week
