Collective advocacy volunteer

We are looking to expand our 'collective advocacy' team. Preferably someone who has knowledge of the organization of care or has experience with scientific research. There is still a lot to gain in terms of compensation and shortening waiting lists. You can think of:

1. influencing policy and implementation in the healthcare chain through consultation, lobbying, formal correspondence and bringing parties together
2. maintaining contacts with organizations from the healthcare chain, healthcare providers, health insurers, policymakers, regulators, and medical professional organizations)
3. maintaining contacts with sister organizations and interest groups.
4. participate in research on trans people

It is a voluntary position. You work closely with the board and other colleagues within collective advocacy.

What are your duties?

• advising the board on policy and approach within certain themes (policy proposals)
• monitoring developments in the outside world (politics, news, social media)
• conducting discussions with stakeholders
