Dress for Success is a volunteer organization that helps people with a minimum income get a suitable outfit to apply for a job, internship or work experience position. After a personal conversation in our store in Utrecht, we offer the customer free style advice and a suitable, representative outfit. Our goal is for the client to face the job interview vigorously, confidently and confidently. If the customer is accepted, he or she is more than welcome for a second outfit.

The clothing comes from donations from the business community and from private individuals. All clothing and advice are provided for free. Our offer also includes workshops where attention is paid to job application advice, style, color and figure analysis.

Dress for Success Utrecht is a non-profit foundation and works with very committed volunteers. Dress for Success has the ambition to grow in customer numbers, range of services and (name) awareness among reintegration agencies, companies, benefit agencies and the broad target group. We are therefore looking for one immediately

PR & COMMUNICATION employee

(volunteer, +4 hours per week)

and a

MARKETING employee

(volunteer, +4 hours per week)

We are looking for volunteers who bring knowledge and experience in the field of:

• (online and social) media such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn as well as (local and national) press,
• organizing small-scale events and gatherings,
• participation in job fairs, information meetings, etc.,
• creating and updating (Powerpoint) presentations for our regular meetings with referrers such as UW, the Municipality of Utrecht and the Municipality of Nieuwegein,
• designing information and promotional material and
• writing informative and promotional texts for our newsletter to the target group and stakeholders,
• bringing together parties such as sponsors, ambassadors and donors,
• increasing brand awareness,
• following relevant trends and developments,
• drawing up and conducting a target group research.

In short, can you creatively, with the Dress for Success US values as a starting point, communicate our vision and policy to the right target group in a correct, enthusiastic and sparkling way?

Are you eager to give Dress for Success Utrecht even more brand awareness in the Utrecht region? Would you like to do this together with the other members of the PR & Communication group? Then we are looking for you!

In the performance of the position you will be part of the PR & Communication working group and you will work together with the manager, the other volunteers and the board. We appreciate it if you also gain a few hours of experience in our store, so that you get a good insight into who our target group is and can meet our volunteers.
