Op vrijdag 11 oktober is het Coming Out Day. Een dag waarop iedereen mag zijn wie hij is en iedereen erbij hoort. Over dit onderwerp gaan we met elkaar in gesprek bij Griftsteede, midden in het Griftpark.

Ben jij of iemand in je omgeving ooit uit de kast gekomen? Tegenover wie wel, tegenover wie niet? Wat doet dat met je gevoel van ‘erbij horen’? Is een coming out anders binnen verschillende groepen, bijvoorbeeld binnen familie, vriendenkring of op het werk?

On Friday 11 October we celebrate Coming Out Day. On this day, everyone can be who they are and everyone is included. We will discuss this feeling of belonging with each other at Griftsteede, in the middle of Griftpark.

Have you or anyone close to you ever come out of the closet? Who did you open up to and who did you leave out? What does that do with your sense of ‘belonging’? Is a coming out different within different groups, for example within the family, circle of friends or at work?
