Deze workshop is in zowel het Engels als in het Nederlands!

Maria Chatzidionysiou, onze Griekse stagiaire van de Universiteit Utrecht, met haar achtergrond in Early Childhood Education en haar specialisatie in Inclusive Societies, stelde zich voor hoe de dialoogmethodiek en de onderwijspraktijk gecombineerd kunnen worden. Maria zag een mogelijkheid waarin dialogen ingezet kunnen worden als instrument tegen sociale polarisatie en ten behoeve van sociale integratie in het onderwijs en daarbuiten.

En wie kun je nou beter bij dit onderzoek betrekken dan de ervaringsdeskundigen zelf? Hoe denken de deelnemers, begeleiders en betrokkenen bij dialogen hierover en hoe definiëren zij polarisatie en inclusie? Met deze vragen in het achterhoofd ontstond het onderzoek ‘The Impressions of Dialogues and their Educational Use’.

Tijdens deze workshop presenteert Maria de resultaten van haar onderzoek. Hoe wordt aan de ene kant polarisatie in de samenleving ervaren (segregatie, discriminatie) en aan de andere kant de inclusie van mensen (het gevoel erbij te horen). Welke rol spelen dialogen bij het omgaan met deze kwesties in ons werk, onze scholen en rond de keukentafel?
