In the Netherlands, we are seeing more and more polarizations, forms of us-them thinking that increase contrasts between people. Between left and right, elderly and young people, farmers and urbanites, rich and poor, black and white, men and women, pro-piet and kick out black pete, black lives matter and blue lives matter. How do you deal with polarization in your environment? What do you do when someone touches you in your heart, has a completely different opinion than you, does not see you, recognizes you, does not listen to you? How do you deal with people who think, live and look very differently? Can you open up to this, show interest, be curious? What happens when you do that?
