Uniek muziekstuk over echte Utrechtse levens met aansluitend een dialoog over de thema’s die tijdens de voorstelling aan de orde komen. Vier componisten laten ons horen hoe het leven van zes gewone Utrechters een positieve wending nam nadat zij met een traumatische gebeurtenis of de dood werden geconfronteerd.

Na de succesvolle eerste editie van het ‘Utregs Requiem’ (2018 ‘Waarheen leidt de weg’), is er een nieuwe serie levensverhalen op muziek gezet. Dit stuk ging op 17 februari 2019 in première in TivoliVredenburg en wordt uitgevoerd door het Insomnio Ensemble en Kamerkoor Neon met solisten Esther Kuiper en Michael Wilmering. Daarna volgt een tournee met de kamermuziekversie langs andere Utrechtse podia. Op vrijdag 22 maart is het Utregs Requiem in De Musketon in Lunetten met aansluitend een dialoog.
