We are looking for an Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

What are you going to do?

As a (assistant) volunteer coordinator you have several tasks:

• Recruit new volunteers, conduct intake interviews and guide volunteers
• You are involved in training and intervision
• You regularly have 1 on 1 conversations with volunteers
• You work closely with the team coordinator and social administrator.
• You think along in the overall working method and activities of the Neighborhood Room

This is you

• You have affinity with our vulnerable target group
• Do you have experience with volunteering?
• You can make a correct estimate when someone is suitable as an independent volunteer, or when someone needs guidance
• You are independent, patient and friendly
• You look for the connection and it is visible that you do your work with enthusiasm and pleasure. This way you get people along; Volunteers always like to be seen, heard and appreciated. You make an indispensable contribution to this!
• You are available at least 16 hours a week.
• It is an advantage if you can create promotional flyers and write fun messages on social media.

About Neighborhood Room de Klop

Buurtkamer de Klop is the meeting place for residents of the Vechtzoom in Utrecht Overvecht. For a cup of coffee, a chat, fun activities, a listening ear, support and fun.
