Assistant / voluntary Playground co-creator

General characteristics

The assistant / voluntary playground co-maker is jointly responsible for the daily performance in the playground and around the playground, controlled by the playground maker. The playground co-maker supports the social management (the playground maker) of the playground.

The function

You provide a hospitable welcome so that people and children like to come to the playground and feel safe and comfortable. You talk to children and parents in the event of a disagreement. You get a lot of freedom to plan the day in such a way that children and parents go home satisfied. Are you that playground co-maker who wants to make the playground even more fun with your qualities?

This is what we are looking for:

• You create atmosphere and you enjoy working with children.
• Good social skills and good cooperation. .
• Easily establishes contact with the target group and identifies wishes, needs, problems, questions and ambitions and passes these on to the playground maker if necessary.
• Can deal with all kinds of people, groups and diversity.
• Enables children to engage in activities and can perform them independently.
• Ensures a pleasant atmosphere and safety in the playground and can respond adequately to this.
• Is able to set boundaries, to address children and parents about difficult behavior.
• Carries out minor maintenance tasks to keep the playground tidy and clean.

For this position we expect you to participate in the following training courses:

• Children's first aid / emergency response.
• Peaceful.
• A certificate of good conduct (VOG).

De Speelboom will reimburse the costs for these training courses and VOG for you.
