What do we do as a board?

The aim of the board is to maintain the animal pasture with farm animals (currently goats, sheep, chickens and cats). In addition, we contribute to the connection in the neighborhood, for example by organizing open days with fun activities that allow you to maintain contact with people in the neighborhood. We organize recreational and educational activities for schools in the area. For this we work together with committed, active volunteers. In addition, we jointly think about attracting sponsors and we maintain contact with the municipality.

We have a meeting about 1x every 6 weeks where the board meets.

The estimated hours can be arranged flexibly. The division of tasks within the board is also flexible and can be reconsidered, partly on the basis of the wishes and qualities of new board members.

Tasks (time indication 6-8 hours per month)

• Ad hoc tasks if something has to be done at unexpected times, for example with the animals
• If you enjoy doing odd jobs, this is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Participation in mucking out days
• Own input and sense of responsibility
• Cozy board meetings with drinks afterwards
