Voluntary coordinator Get a Grip

Do you want to help young people with money worries to get their finances on track?

Do you have an affinity with young people and do you want to help them on the right track with their finances? Then we are looking for you. As a volunteer you will talk to young people and volunteers and then make links. You also support the volunteers by, among other things, continuing to monitor the process, organizing peer meetings and acting as a sounding board.

Humanitas Utrecht helps nearly 100 people every year to organize and maintain their financial administration. From the summer of 2019 we will start a project, specifically for young people: Get a Grip. With this we help young people to get their finances in order and we strengthen their self-reliance. We are looking for a voluntary coordinator for this project.

Our department has eight activities on the themes of loneliness, poverty and growing up. The department consists of 20 enthusiastic volunteer coordinators, a departmental board, 450 volunteers and five professionals.

What we ask

• Available for 6 to 8 hours a week for a minimum of one year
• Hbo thinking level
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (reimbursed by Humanitas)
