Humanitas: for Utrecht residents by Utrecht residents

We have one important goal in mind: we bring an Utrecht person who cannot manage alone for a while with a fellow townsman. We assume that if we bring together the knowledge, strength and expertise, Utrecht can then continue himself.

Sometimes someone does not have the capacity to organize their own life. Sometimes the opportunity to do so is lacking. Humanitas Utrecht is there to give these people temporary support and to provide them with the tools with which they can tackle their problems themselves. We are convinced that this gives people so much self-confidence that they will be able to take better care of themselves in the future.

The tools that our volunteers bring are diverse; overview in the administration, processing the loss of a loved one, or learning the Dutch language better. In all our support we focus on ensuring that the other person can pick up the thread again.
