One-time deployment during the summer at the Homeless Inloop Utrecht center

Do you have some time left in the summer months and would you like to give our visitors attention, making their world a bit bigger again? Then we are looking for you!

What are you doing?

You participate in part of the day (several is also allowed!) in the summer. Together with your team you are a warm welcome for the visitors. You support visitors in their first needs: a cup of coffee, tea or soup and a listening ear.

What do we ask of you?

• You are at least 18 years old.

• You are capable of informally giving personal attention to visitors.

• You are not easily upset by people with a different attitude and you do not quickly feel personally addressed.

• You are available in the morning from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm and in the afternoon from 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

What do we offer you?

• A fun and instructive volunteer task where contact and encounters with visitors are paramount.

• And of course you can eat and drink something on location!

About the location Walk-in / Restart

The Walk-in for the homeless is part of Restart (Nieuwegracht 92). We are open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The walk-in is designed for the one and a half meter meeting and holds a max. of 25 visitors.

Restart is aimed at:

• prevention of homelessness

• shelter and help for those who nevertheless become homeless

• customized assistance

• guidance of (former) homeless people who have found a place to live again
