Support volunteer coordinators

What you do:

The Salvation Army has two volunteer advisers for the Central Netherlands region. They are responsible for recruiting and guiding all volunteers from this region.

As a volunteer you support the advisors in various tasks. This can vary from writing cards to volunteers, posting vacancies at the various volunteer centers to coming up with your own texts and making welcome folders. It is also possible to contribute ideas and to contribute to the volunteer newsletter. What you do is in consultation. Where your talent & passion lies will be responded to.

About the Salvation Army:

The Salvation Army is a Christian organization active in more than 120 countries that provides material and intangible aid to people “without a helper”. We are active in the field of social care, labor reintegration, rehabilitation, prevention and social recovery, addiction care, church work and international development aid. With more than 6000 professionals and 1500 volunteers, we are ready for approximately 55,000 people per year.

The office for the Central Netherlands region is located in Utrecht. Volunteers are recruited for all areas in which the Salvation Army is active in the Central Netherlands region.

What else do we ask of you?

- You are available 4-8 hours a week, you can work at the office and/or at home

- You dare to give your opinion

-You can work independently

- You are proficient in using a computer and have knowledge of the various Microsoft Office packages.

- We ask for a certificate of good conduct (VOG). The costs of this will be reimbursed.
