The Red Cross is very strong in Evenementenhulpverlening (EHV) and you see our volunteers standing by as a first aider at numerous small and large events. However, there is a lot of organization behind Event Assistance! After all, the deployment of all those Red Crossers must be well coordinated in accordance with the national field standard and guidelines. The necessary supporting materials must be available in the right places at the right time. And for the larger events, for example, a complete radio communication network is quickly set up.

In order to support the EHV Department Coordinators at local events and to effectively streamline large(er) events in preparation, implementation and completion, the District of Gooi & Utrecht is starting an Event Bureau.

For this, the District of Gooi & Utrecht is immediately looking for several Event Bureau employees.

Voluntary for about 8 hours a week. 

What are you going to do 

• You keep an eye on the different event calendars and you make effective connections.
• You prepare quotations and risk analyzes for and maintain the relationship with (potential) clients.
• You plan and coordinate EHV deployments together with the EHV Department Coordinators.
• And in consultation with the EHV Department Coordinators, you take care of the intakes, scenarios, (de)briefings and (possibly) aftercare for the Event Rescuers.

It is estimated that you will be working on it on average about 8 hours a week (flexibly over the months). You always work together with the EHV Department Coordinators, the EHV District Coordinator and the responsible Emergency Services Coordinator.

• You are organizationally and administratively strong, you work in a structured way and you like an overview.
• You communicate clearly and in a timely manner with both your colleagues in the field and our clients.
• You are flexible and solution-oriented, you can improvise if necessary and you are preferably already at home in event assistance.

You will become a colleague in an enthusiastic and committed team in which you will jointly implement Event Assistance in our district for the future.
