Flexible volunteer work? You can do that at the Food Bank!

Every week, more than 600 food packages are provided in Utrecht from 11 locations to people who need it temporarily.

These packages contain fresh (chilled) products and also non-perishable products.

To ensure that our volunteers can hand out the packages at the locations, we do a lot of 'preparatory work' at the central warehouse.

We sort all fresh products by type and date and pack them food-safe and refrigerated. In addition, we put together a shelf-stable package of which we prepare a few hundred every week.

At the distribution points, the volunteers put together these customized packages and hand them out.

Where can you help?

We are looking for several volunteers who would like to join our team 1 day a week (morning).

You help sort out incoming food and pack the packages.

It's fun work, clearing your head and being busy with your hands and you work in a nice team!!!

Besides all that, you are important for the continuity of our process, helping people who need it most!

Of course you can also sign up with a friend, all help is WELCOME!
