Logistics volunteer Food bank issuance Lunetten

Food Bank Lunetten is one of the 12 issuing points of the Utrecht Food Bank Foundation and only works with volunteers (about 10). We are located in the Musketon building. We support 40 families with a food package every week. For the composition of the food packages, we receive food from the central warehouse of Food Bank Utrecht and from various suppliers / donors including supermarkets, companies, churches, schools and private individuals.

We are immediately looking for a Logistics employee who has time and likes to strengthen our team! The activities include;

• Receipt of sustainable and fresh food;
• Product handling: sorting of food for distribution and possible storage, stock management of non-perishable food and cooling and frozen products, Food safety;
• Issuing of refrigerated and frozen products including meat / fish / dairy;
• Waste disposal;
• Logistic organization store fundraising campaigns
