Chairman (m/f)

Currently, the board of the Zuidbus Foundation consists of a chairman, secretary, treasurer, and two general board members. Our current chairman will retire in the near future and that is why we are looking for a new chairman (m/f) who wants to actively think along with us during meetings (4 x 1 hour per year) and sometimes in between. subjects related to the ins and outs of the foundation. Our goal is to be able to continue to offer our transport services to our group of less mobile elderly people from Utrecht-south (Hoograven, Lunetten, Tolsteeg and Rotsoord, Rivierenwijk) for a long time to come.

In addition, there is the possibility to assist with one or more practical administrative tasks, such as participating in discussions with potential customers, sponsors, the municipality, etc. All in mutual consultation, based on everyone's wishes and possibilities.

Requirements for this position:

• affinity with the target group
• enough time and motivation for the long term
• good verbal and written expression
• proactive attitude
• team spirit, motivator
• management experience is a plus
• experience with applying for grants from sponsors is an advantage
• living in Utrecht-south is an advantage

Pay attention:

• Our volunteers do not receive any financial reward. Drivers and hostesses do receive a standard consumption allowance during Zuidbus trips.
• All our volunteers decide for themselves when and how often they want to contribute.
• The address shown is only our postal address in the Hart van Hoograven neighborhood center. We don't have an office.
