Social media team member

Do you enjoy posting content online and involving people in dialogue via social media and activating them to join? Utrecht in Dialogue is looking for a social media expert who enjoys involving Utrecht residents around different dialogues and themes. Are you at home on facebook, insta, youtube, twitter or linkedin? Do you enjoy bringing people who don't automatically meet each other together for a real conversation? The function

You manage the social media Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Youtube and Twitter with others. You post events, messages and images, entice Utrecht residents to join, participate and post comments. Each channel has its own reach and approach. You work on one or more channels, depending on your interests and experience. Together with other volunteers, you think about how we can make social media more attractive. You can work at our location in Utrecht (with your own laptop) and/or from home.

Your tasks:

- post events and invite friends to them, also in groups

- find/make new friends and followers

- sharing content that arouses curiosity, inspires to go

- initiate interaction, keep it going around events

- keep followers, friends, group participants engaged

- maintain direct contact with "friends", "followers" and partners

Your profile

You like to be on social media, open, curious and interested in what moves people. You find it a challenge to involve different people and groups from Utrecht in the dialogue and the themes we discuss via social media. You can work well independently and in a team. You can volunteer 4 to 8 hours a week for Utrecht in Dialogue on location and/or from home for six months.
