Reviewer at Women's Library Utrecht

Do you like to read? Do you enjoy writing about books you've read?

The Women's Library is looking for critics for new books from its collection. This can be fiction written by female authors or non-fiction about women. We request review copies from (Dutch) publishers and ask volunteers to write a review about them. We publish these reviews on our website, social media and in our newsletter. The publisher will also receive a copy.

Our aim is to provide literature and information by, respectively. about offering women to a wide audience in Utrecht. That means we enjoy expanding our wide collection with new books by very different well-known and lesser-known authors, and on very different topics of interest to women.

You can decide when, where and how much you work. Together we look at which/how many books you want to take with you to read and discuss at home. We will make agreements in consultation about the time you think you will need.

We don't expect you to be an accomplished reviewer. Interest and enthusiasm are important to us. Because readers are not all alike, we welcome reviewers of all ages, with very different interests and backgrounds.
