Vrijwilliger Data Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who collects neighborhood information data for the WIL website, checks it and corrects or supplements it where necessary. It is important here to check the correctness and completeness of this data. The intention is that you then convert this data into information that is accessible (findable) and understandable for the visitor to our website. You do this together with a colleague, who can train you perfectly.

In short, your activities consist of:

• Collect and organize new neighborhood information, and the hobby and activity lists
• Checking existing data for correctness and correct it immediately where necessary
• Publish this information in a way accessible to the consumer

You can expand your work by requesting information in Google Analytics, analyzing it and converting it into knowledge, with which WIL can improve itself further. There is always room for new initiatives such as setting up a 'Uitladder'. In other words, you don't have to worry about sitting still.

You can do this volunteer work whenever you feel like it. That does not necessarily have to be during the day. It is quite a job, so it will take you at least a few hours a week. Correcting data for correctness in particular can take time because you are often dependent on third parties who have to answer a question to you. You are in fact just waiting. The work requires someone who is organized and who can keep an overview.

In principle, a data analyst can work from home, but if you like it, you are more than welcome at one of our workplaces, for example in the De Weide Wereld neighborhood center. You will be part of the Communication Team, so that - if you want - you can also deal with other matters than just data analysis.
