Coffee and fun...

Residential care center De Composer offers space to 36 elderly people. Residents of De Composer all have to deal with memory problems and are therefore dependent to a greater or lesser extent on their environment. Because the memory deteriorates, it becomes increasingly difficult for the resident to keep an overview and to undertake something independently.

The residents live in a group of six elderly people in a ward with a shared living room, where they live as much as possible as at home. That includes a cup of coffee in the morning. But just as important is 'being together'. Know how everyone is doing and what activities are on the program that day. As a volunteer you serve coffee in the living room but also offer a bit of cosiness. For example by reading the newspaper, watering plants together or playing a game.

Expectation : You are available on a fixed day of the week from 9.45-11.30 am. You have an affinity with the elderly, you dare to take the initiative to carry out a small activity together with the residents. Good command of the Dutch language.
