Looking for administrative assistant

The function

As an administrative assistant, you are responsible for the administrative tasks within the foundation, creating and taking minutes of meetings, collecting information for accountability to funds, signaling important e-mails in our mailboxes on a daily basis and answering simple e-mails. Depending on your available time, you can take on more tasks in consultation with the board, such as writing/posting texts on websites and social media, archiving or maintaining contacts with contacts of the foundation. And if you want this and the click is there with the board, you could even join the board.

This is you

• Committed and enthusiastic about our foundation and our objectives.
• You have experience with taking minutes (and that does not have to be accurate).
• Yes, you are good at summarizing and extracting the essence of stories.
• You are good at writing texts and you can adjust these texts at various levels.
• You can think along in various facets of the foundation with the aim of helping the foundation further.
• Almost every day you have some time to check things, to keep track of things and to inform the board.
• You have experience with MS Teams, MS office 365 and Excel.

Good to know

• Depending on your wishes, this position can also be fulfilled as a board position.
• You can often organize your own time, (online) meetings are discussed.
• There is a board with 9 years of experience and a team of application staff. We are in the process of expanding the entire team.
• Experience is nice, but we think commitment, enthusiasm, communication skills and reliability are more important.
• You can participate in interesting trainings/courses.
• Twice a year we are welcome as a team at the National Congress of Animal Aid. This is a fun, enriching and educational day where animal aid workers meet.
• We aim to meet once a month for consultation, usually online.
• All functions within the foundation are based on volunteer efforts and are therefore unpaid.
