Active member of the Wmo Client Council Utrecht

Would you like to contribute to a society in which people with disabilities can participate as much as possible? The Wmo Client Council Utrecht advises the municipality of Utrecht on existing and new Wmo policy. We write solicited and unsolicited advice and regularly consult with the municipality and various interest groups. We meet once a month on Wednesday afternoons (online now, hopefully it will soon be possible physically and online). The council has an eye for the client and his problem, focuses on total solutions and not partial solutions.

We are looking for someone who sees the 'big picture' and thinks in solutions. Someone who wants to represent the interests of a group of vulnerable people. You do not have to be a Wmo user, as a professional in this area or as an informal caregiver (eg for someone with a mental disability) you are also very welcome. You can work in a team with others, you are skilled at the computer and you do not shy away from reading policy advice and other official documents. You can follow courses via the council, for example on political decision-making.
