Will you be our assistant project leader?

During the corona lockdown we started preparing meals and they have been delivered to people in old age, as well as to other people who needed it. Thanks to a contribution from the Kansfonds, we can now expand this project and we are looking for an assistant project leader who wants to support us in this.

The project is threefold: Healthy eating, Socializing (besides bringing the meal there is time for a chat) and Being seen (we see how someone is doing and whether it is necessary to offer support).

Our goal is to provide at least 30 people with a healthy, freshly prepared meal once a week from 1 September. Meals are prepared by volunteers and delivered by other volunteers. (We are also looking for additional meal deliverers and cooks.)

What are you going to do?

You support the project leader with recruiting, training and guiding the volunteers

· You are coordinator of 'the cooking club'; you chair meetings with the chefs to devise menus, make a roster, ensure compliance with social hygiene, etc.

You regularly have 1 on 1 conversations with volunteers

You work closely with the project leader 3 G's and the social administrator of the Neighborhood Room

What do we ask of you?

· You have affinity with our vulnerable target group

· You are independent, patient and friendly

· Volunteering experience is a plus

· You have coordinating skills and you can work well together

· You are a strong communicator: you talk to colleagues / volunteers and to a lesser extent with our local residents
