Summary
You can participate in fun activities all weekend long. We are looking for people who want to organize and / or supervise an activity.Detailed description
You can lie in front of your tent all weekend, but you can also participate in fun activities. That is why we are looking for people who want to organize and / or supervise an activity.
Do you have a passion such as face painting, jeux de boules, dancing, acting, hooping or making tasty snacks? You can try everything out at De Buurtcamping! Participate and let the campers enjoy your (up-and-coming) talent.
Fire masters
A campfire cannot be missed at the campsite. We do this safely, and that is the job of the fire master! You keep the fire going and you make sure that nobody burns their countertops.
Cooks and food lovers for the cooking team
Help with breakfast and dinner! You set up and clean up in a team. As a cooking team you can also think of what will be eaten in the evening. You shop, provide sponsorship and make sure campers have full bellies (and yourself, of course).
Neighborhood musicians
Musicians wanted! Do you want to show your musical talent at the campsite, by the campfire or in the park during the day?

About De Buurtcamping Utrecht
Welcome to De Buurtcamping Utrecht - meeting, working together and camping in your own city!
Since 2015, Stichting De Buurtcamping Utrecht has been working as a city-wide community on social cohesion in various neighborhoods in the city. Local residents organize De Buurtcamping in their own park with organizations and entrepreneurs. There is active cooperation in more than 10 months before and after the camping weekend. Through this collaboration, the meeting and spending the night in your own park, you get to know and appreciate each other and the neighborhood neighborhoods better.
We work in teams towards a cozy campsite with a wide program of accessible activities, set up for and by residents. In the evening we sit together around the campfire to share stories and in the morning we wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and a sandwich from the local bakery. At the campsite you are outside all day and everyone is equal; after all, with that toilet roll under our arm, we all look equally clumsy!
The following districts / teams will be set to work in 2020:
- Nordic Park in Ondiep / Pijlsweerd
- Majella Park in Utrecht West
- Park de Gagel in Overvecht
- Griftpark in Northeast
- Park Transwijk in Kanaleneiland / Transwijk
- Máximapark in Leidsche Rijn
- Park de Koppel in Lunetten
