We are looking for board members to supplement the current board (chairman, secretary and a general board member). The Buurtcamping Utrecht has existed for 6 years and the coming year will be dominated by (the establishment of) the Raad van Buren, consisting of residents from the various neighborhoods.

The Buurtcamping has developed further in recent years, with the focus on the practical organization of a camping weekend increasingly shifting to building and maintaining a network of local residents, partners in welfare, society and culture and other stakeholders. Setting up the campsites is one of the means to achieve this.

We are still looking for supportive board members, in the form of a supervisory treasurer and general board member. In this role you support the executive board in broad outlines, share your network, expertise and vision, among other things, on cooperation with relevant parties from the social domain in Utrecht.

The board has 6 meetings per year.

The supervising treasurer:

• Keeps an eye on the budget and administration
• Makes payments monthly
• Makes an annual report in coordination with the executive board
• Advises the fundraiser
• Use relevant network when it comes to sponsoring

The treasurer is supported by the regional manager (who draws up budgets and has contact with campsite managers), bookkeeper (keeps records in an online system, submits a declaration) and the VDGC accountant's office (prepares annual accounts).

General board member

• Brings knowledge, experience and vision from work experience into meetings
• Takes up tasks when necessary and with pleasure
