What are you going to do?

As a driver you drive car trips to drop off and pick up mail and packages for De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation. Upon arrival, you always report to the freight logistics department. There you pick up the mail and/or packages, which you take with a car or van from De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation to the Mytylschool De Kleine Prins and to the UMCU Utrecht. You can also take back mail or packages from there. When you are ready, log out again at the freight logistics department.

What are we looking for in you?

• You are in possession of your car driver's license;
• You live in Utrecht;
• You like to mean something to someone else;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language;
• You are representative;
• You have an affinity with rehabilitation.

The volunteer function

You carry out the car rides on Friday between 12:00 and 13:30. It is a plus if you can sometimes fill in on another weekday around this time.

Volunteering at De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation

The Hoogstraat Rehabilitation helps children, young people and adults with the consequences of a disorder, accident or illness, so that they can participate in society as well as possible. Volunteering at De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation means performing voluntary tasks in an attractive working environment with enthusiastic people who work together in an informal atmosphere to make the patient's stay as optimal as possible. You do this by being hospitable, listening carefully and connecting with rehabilitators, employees and your fellow volunteers.
