Treasurer

We are looking for a gentleman or lady with accounting qualities or who is willing to make that their own. Experience with internet banking, email and Microsoft Excel is required.

The treasurer is part of the daily management.

He or she has sufficient time to perform this volunteer function (approximately 10 hours per month). There are 6 to 8 board meetings per year, which take place online or in the KNSB office in Utrecht. There is also a General Membership Meeting once a year.

All board members fulfill their position on a voluntary basis, but with reimbursement of the (travel) costs. The official appointment must take place during the general meeting (GMM) after approval of the members and is for a period of 4 years. Until the GMM, the position is held ad interim.

Job description:

1. Performs financial administration;

2. Makes the financial part of the annual report;

3. Manages the cash, bank accounts and savings accounts;

4. Budget income (contributions, donations, receipts from competitions, subsidies and other income) and expenses (fixed costs, projects, GMM and LVS day, jury and trainer meetings/courses, etc.) and implement these activities in the interim and afterwards financial control;

5. Assess whether expenses incurred and declarations fall within the annual budget, the budget frameworks and/or the agreements made in the board meetings;

6. Maintains relevant contacts with the KNSB, regions, training groups, sponsors and subsidy providers;

The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with the articles of association.
