Checkout volunteer (weekend)

Whether you visit Castle de Haar for the park, the wonderful history, the exhibitions, the gardens, the deer or to get married, you imagine yourself in a different world. Behind every door, every detail, every flower from the colorful gardens, there is a story. About different times, different cultures, different figures. De Haar is the largest castle in the Netherlands, which was once privately owned by the van Zuylen family and where her descendants still reside every year. The international jet set from the last century, with its lavish lifestyle, also regularly visited the castle. From Coco Chanel to Roger Moore, they left their mark in the luxurious rooms of the most opulent place in Utrecht.

Stichting Kasteel de Haar is committed to the preservation and maintenance of the castle, the gardens and the collection. In addition, we aim to make the entire complex accessible to a wide audience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic: Checkout volunteer (m / f) for several days

who wants to join our volunteer team!

We are looking for someone who enjoys carrying out all kinds of activities for the benefit of tourism at the castle. This includes welcoming and informing visitors and of course selling tickets.

What do we ask of you:

• You are representative, customer-friendly and service-oriented.
• You have experience with sales / cash register activities.
• You are stress resistant.
• You have good communication skills.
• You can work well together.
• You are in good physical condition.
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• You are available at least 1 day (part) a week.
