Portuguese man looking for buddy

A 40-year-old man is looking for fun, going for a walk or having a cup of coffee, something to eat at McDonalds. Due to his psychiatric disability, he is somewhat introverted and has some difficulty becoming active. He is from Portugal and would be very happy to have a buddy who speaks Portuguese. He understands Dutch and speaks it a little. Communicating in your own language is so much nicer.

About Domus de Hoek

Domus De Hoek is a protected housing form of the Salvation Army. People with addictions who want to continue using live here. Some of them have a mild intellectual disability. They receive 24-hour guidance, their own room and necessities for basic living. The care needs of the resident are central. The assistance is adapted to the demand for care with the aim that residents can participate as independently as possible in society.

We ask:

- You are patient, stable and you can set your boundaries well

- You have respect for other norms and values

- We ask for a certificate of good conduct (VOG). The costs of this will be reimbursed.
