Physical helpdesk employee

To answer the questions properly and quickly, the Red Cross District Gooi & Utrecht is responsible for the Utrecht location   looking for a physical helpdesk employee for about 4 hours on tuesday. Prefer every other week? This also helped us and the help seekers!

What are you going to do?

You:

• answers questions to the physical helpdesk in Utrecht about the digital assistance (registration, vouchers, etc.) of the Red Cross;
• provides information and refers to the appropriate authorities for, among other things, legal advice, medical assistance and shelter;
• records the questions asked by undocumented migrants in the logbook.

What are you bringing?

You:

• are available weekly or every other week on Tuesdays from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Do you want to work more hours? Can we talk about it!
• have an MBO/HBO/WO education in a medical or social field;
• is confident and has excellent communication skills;
• are empathetic and communicate clearly about the (limits of) the help;
• speaks excellent English and Dutch. Do you also speak French or another language? Even better!
• may already have experience working with (undocumented) migrants.
