Description Stichting Leergeld Utrecht

Stichting Leergeld Utrecht is a private foundation that acts as the last safety net for parents who do not have sufficient financial means to finance or pre-finance the development of their children. Stichting Leergeld Utrecht wants to use its contribution to ensure that 'participation' must be possible for every child in the field of sports, school costs and school activities. To this end, we collect resources (from the municipality, but also through all kinds of funds, through our donors and through various campaigns) and then use them where necessary. We then make our options known to the target group through schools, neighborhood teams and other channels.

Working method Stichting Leergeld Utrecht

During a home visit by one of our volunteers (who are supervised by a professional coordinator), the demand for support is mapped out and the applicant receives information about various facilities that make it possible to participate (better). We not only provide money or goods, but we also help you request support from other parties such as the Youth Sports Fund.

The foundation is largely managed by a foundation board consisting of 7 people.

We are looking for immediately

Due to the departure of the fundraiser, we are currently still looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser .

We are looking for someone who has an affinity with poverty alleviation among children and who is creative and enterprising when it comes to devising ways to raise funds. If you also agree with the objective of Leergeld, we would like to get to know you.

The fundraiser:

• Is able to increase the income of the Foundation
• Has experience in applying for and justifying contributions from funds
• Consults with coordinators and board on current themes and fundraising projects
