Projectcoördinator (4-16 uur per week)

Serve the City Utrecht is a local youth volunteer network that offers help and network to people who have little or no network. Serve the City focuses especially on young people who live in the city of Utrecht and who want to mean something to (vulnerable) people.

From the start of Serve the City Utrecht at the beginning of 2016, Utrecht youngsters have committed themselves through Serve the City Utrecht to people who have little or no network and need contact or help with one thing or another. We do this in collaboration with various volunteer and welfare organizations in the city of Utrecht.

Would you like to contribute to the development and growth of Serve the City Utrecht? We are looking for a volunteer who would like to keep the Network running with us and to be part of the coordination team. That means:

Tasks

Conduct intake interviews with new volunteers;

Making links between volunteers and clients / organizations;

Guiding and maintaining contact with volunteers;

Entering into and maintaining contacts with institutions and social organizations in Utrecht;

Thinking about the development of Serve the City Utrecht;

Share requests for help and inspiration on social media;

Administrative tasks.

Requirements

You are between 18 and 35 years old;

You are available for 4 to 16 hours per week (whatever fits your agenda);

You like to organize, plan and coordinate. You don't have to be a talent yet; it can be learned !;

You are flexible and can get along with many different people;

You are motivated to contribute to a society in which Utrecht youth look after vulnerable fellow citizens;

You enjoy thinking about starting up a young organization.
