As an animal supervisor along with the animals to the Wilhelmina children's hospital

For years, animals from Griftsteede have been going to the children's hospital in Utrecht to visit the children. To be able to continue to do this, Stadsboerderij Griftsteede is looking for volunteers.

Once every 2 weeks on THURSDAY (all year round), volunteers take animals to the WKZ. You are working on this as a volunteer from about 13.30 to 15.30. The driver from Utrecht Natuurlijk will take you from Griftsteede to the hospital and back.

Several volunteers are needed to fill all the dates in the schedule.

What are you going to do?

· Prepare items and animals for transport.

· Carefully move animals in and out of enclosures.

· Supervise the animals / handle the animals.

· Connecting with people.

· Clean up things and evaluate the visit with the animal caretaker.

What do we expect from you?

· You are 18 years or older

· Do you enjoy working with children?

· You are reliable, independent, friendly and you can handle feedback well.

You are available for a longer period of time (minimum 3 months)

An introductory meeting will take place upon registration. After that you will be trained and you will learn how we handle the animals.
