Going out with the DUO bike

Residents of De Composer all have to deal with memory problems and are therefore dependent to a greater or lesser extent on their environment. Because the memory deteriorates, it becomes increasingly difficult for the resident to keep an overview and to undertake something independently. Residents like to go outside. If you go for a walk, the resident may be dependent on a walker or wheelchair.

There is also the possibility to go out with the DUO bicycle. A DUO bicycle is a bicycle in which two people sit next to each other. The bicycle has two rear wheels and one front wheel, so that it stands firmly on the road. Furthermore, it has chairs where you can easily take a seat. Pedal assistance is available. This way you can explore the area together with a resident. How about a trip to the Máxima Park or the Terwijde shopping center?

When you return home to the Composer, you can drink a cup of coffee or tea together to end the morning or afternoon together.
