Do you like to get in touch with people from your neighbourhood? Do you make the best coffee in Rivierenwijk? And would you like to work bar services?
What are we looking for?
Neighborhood center De Nieuwe Jutter is looking for bar volunteers. As a bar volunteer you provide our visitors (neighbours) with a drink and possibly a small snack, you make sure people feel welcome and you have a nice chat. Your good mood creates a good atmosphere! In between you clean up a bit and at the end of your shift you make up the cash.
What do you get in return?
An enthusiastic team of committed volunteers, closeness to the neighborhood and new contacts! In addition, you can call yourself a volunteer of the nicest community center in Rivierenwijk!
About the New Jutter
De Nieuwe Jutter is a neighborhood center for everyone from Rivierenwijk, Dichterswijk and the surrounding area. De Nieuwe Jutter is an important meeting place in the neighbourhood. A warm place and for some even a second home! We believe in self-management and in co-creation, so we do it together. We are there for and through the neighborhood and everyone is welcome to join us. Whether you rent a space, want to do something good for your neighbors or want to work as a volunteer, the doors are open for you with us. Together with the board, management and volunteers, we manage De Nieuwe Jutter.

About Buurthuis de Nieuwe Jutter
We are a community center in Rivierenwijk in Utrecht. A special community center because we, the residents of Rivierenwijk, manage this community center together. We want our Nieuwe Jutter to be a place where people like to come to meet others and where they feel welcome. Many volunteers are committed to this.
Meetings take place over a cup of coffee or a drink, during meals and during the various activities that people organize themselves in our community centre. Whoever you are, wherever you come from and however you think: everyone is welcome. We do expect visitors to show respect for each other and to adhere to our house rules.
Activities that are organized range from yoga class, line dance and choir to billiards, folk dancing, Arabic class, Arabic homework support, cards and much more. And don't forget the festive evenings, neighborhood meals, Iftar and Whitsun meal. Our community center is also involved in the annual neighborhood party and the neighbors day. In the past year De Nieuwe Jutter was twice the place where it was possible to say goodbye to a deceased local resident.
In addition to the regular activities, the community center is open as a workplace for freelancers, for meetings, courses, lectures, conferences or other gatherings.
