Terms and conditions

The training offer of the Volunteer Centre Utrecht is intended for (prospective) volunteers, executive volunteers, board members of civil society organisations, associations and foundations in Utrecht city and staff members who supervise them, such as volunteer coordinators. Those for whom a workshop is specifically intended are clearly indicated in the description of the training for which you are applying. 

Excluded from participation: ZZP-ers, people who work (un)paid in a BV, VOF, NV, volunteers/paid workers who do not live in Utrecht and or do not volunteer/work in Utrecht. 

Although the training is offered free of charge, there are costs and activities associated with it for Vrijwilligerscentrale Utrecht and the various providers. In order to be able to continue offering the workshops, the conditions below have been drawn up. 

Sign up 

By registering via the website of Vrijwilligerscentrale Utrecht you agree to the conditions below. You can register by completing and submitting the (digital) application form in full. You will receive a copy of the application at the e-mail address you have filled in. We will also send you a separate confirmation of registration, with additional information about the workshop. 

Because we want to give as many people as possible the chance to participate in the free training sessions, we have a limit of a maximum of two people per organization. Other interested people from the same organisation will be added to the reserve list. We can also give priority to people who have not participated in a training course before. 

If you do not meet the specific target group of one of the training sessions, we will contact you about this and reserve the right not to admit you and/or look for a possible alternative.

Volunteer Centre Utrecht reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or stop participation of registrants. 

When you register, you indicate your experiences with the subject and your learning questions. These will be anonymously forwarded to the trainer so that he/she can adapt the training accordingly. 

Confirmation 

Within one week before the start of the workshop you will receive a final confirmation of participation. In this confirmation your participation, location and time will be confirmed. If there are too few participants for a training and therefore it cannot take place, you will also receive an email about this. 

If there are too many registrations, you will be placed on the waiting list. The 'sign up' button then says 'sign up for the waiting list'. If there are unsubscriptions and you are still able to participate, you will receive a message from us. 

Cancel 

Cancellation is possible up to three working days (unless otherwise stated) before the start of the training. For unannounced absence during the training € 30,- will be charged. 

If you are not able to attend the workshop yourself, but someone else from your volunteer network or organization is, he/she can take your place. Condition: please inform us in advance. Cancellation or transfer to another name can be done by e-mail. 

Payments 

If applicable, an invoice will be sent to your e-mail address within ten working days.  

Evaluation 

Volunteer Centre Utrecht does effect measurement: we ask all participants to complete an evaluation afterwards. We would like to hear if the workshop has met your expectations. We are also curious if you miss something in our training program or would like to see a certain workshop programmed. Evaluations are processed anonymously. 

If you give us permission on the evaluation form to place a quote about the workshop you attended in our annual report or other media, we will also do this anonymously. If pictures are taken during a training, they will never be used without permission. 

Privacy 

Volunteer Centre Utrecht treats the personal details provided for the workshop with the utmost confidentiality. The data will be used to communicate about the workshop. The photo and/or film material, which can be made during the workshop, will be used for the website of Vrijwilligerscentrale Utrecht, for articles and social media.
