Summary
Online information meeting for Rooms with Attention.Detailed description
'A little attention to each other'
Do you remember the moment you left home?
If you are just standing on your own two feet, you can sometimes feel a bit lonely and you often need help from family and friends. But what if that social safety net isn't there and you don't have a trusted place to return to?
Rooms with Attention helps this vulnerable group of young people find a home. You can help by temporarily renting out a room to a young person, as an intermediate step before they can live independently again. A room with attention! It does not matter how old you are or how often you are at home. Any living space can become a room with attention.
Perhaps you enjoy having a young person join in for a bite to eat now and then, would you like to exercise together or would you rather help with the administration. Young people can do a job for you, babysit for a while, walk the dog or go shopping. This creates a win-win situation for both.
On Tuesday, July 6, we are organizing an online information meeting from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for people who are interested in renting out a room to a vulnerable young person.
Participation is possible for anyone who has a spare room at home, in both rental and owner-occupied homes, without losing any allowances.
During the online information meeting you will receive an explanation about which young people are involved and what the working method is of Rooms with Attention. They will receive information about helpful laws & regulations and a landlord will share her personal experiences. There is also room to ask questions.
For registration and more information, visit our site under the heading 'news' > 'on-line information evening'.
