Volunteer Foot Care

The Salvation Army Central Netherlands offers independence training in Utrecht. For young people aged 16 to 23 who want to grow towards independence, but where this is (temporarily) not possible from the current living environment. The young people have multiple complex problems in different areas of life, causing serious impediment or stagnation in the development of the young person. Through a solution-oriented and future-oriented approach, the Salvation Army works with young people in a demand-oriented way. Phase-wise and tailor-made assistance is offered to the individual needs of the young person. The process is as fast as possible and as intensive as necessary. A process takes an average of one and a half years.

One-way ticket Independent offers space for 18 young people.

Just a little extra attention. Attention for the feet that can use this well, but also attention for the person himself. For our room training center we are looking for a volunteer who

takes care of the feet of our young people. In addition, it is also a moment of pampering for them.

We are looking for someone who:

• who has experience with foot care and who likes to give people some extra attention

• can indicate boundaries well

• does not feel personally attacked easily

• is patient

• can issue a VOG (will be reimbursed)
