Gilde Utrecht is looking for enthusiastic language volunteers for one-on-one conversation (language buddies) for people who want to speak Dutch better.Detailed description
For our project "Samenspraak" we are looking for language volunteers (language buddies) who enjoy helping people to learn to speak Dutch better through one-on-one conversation. You don't have to be an expert. You are welcome if you recognize yourself in the profile:
- You are at least 50 years old;
- You are interested in the target group (people who do not yet speak Dutch very well)
- You are patient, enterprising and independent
- You are interested in other cultures
- You want to participate in team building and professional development activities that Gilde Utrecht organizes several times a year.

Never too old to discover or share. Gilde Utrecht likes to do both. The people over 45 who form the organization of Gilde Utrecht are happy to share their knowledge and skills with others. More than two hundred volunteers are active in many different areas. The volunteers of Gilde Utrecht enjoy doing something for others and they experience that what is offered is also appreciated.
The range of activities is very diverse: Beautiful historical walks in the city of Utrecht, language support in the Dutch language or in foreign languages, courses on various aspects of the city, but also one-on-one advice in a number of areas.
