Employee Environmental Indicator Utrecht

The urban Environmental Center Utrecht (MCU) works together with Utrecht citizens, organizations and local authorities on a healthy and sustainable Domstad. In addition, the MCU has an important information function, with its Milieuwijzer as a strong pillar.

The Milieuwijzer is a green internet guide, in which a local selection of the enormous range of sustainable information on the net is presented in a clear manner to residents of the city of Utrecht. Where do you buy sustainable clothing? Where can you find a nice bike ride through the greenery around the city? Where do you hand in your old hairdryer?

Milieuwijzer Utrecht is made by a small team of two volunteers and urgently needs reinforcements. We are looking for someone who cares about nature and the environment. Someone who enjoys following sustainable developments in the city and incorporating them into the Milieuwijzer.

Time use

• 2 to 3 days per week.

Tasks

• Keeping the Milieuwijzer up-to-date by checking existing information and finding new ones, especially on the internet.
• Co-developing and organizing new sections.
• Thinking about the progress of the Milieuwijzer.
• It is an advantage if he/she has experience with web editing.

We offer a nice workplace in the heart of Utrecht. You work in a small enthusiastic team, with a lot of flexibility and room for your own ideas and initiatives. You will receive a (modest) volunteer and travel allowance.
