Foundation Old Learned Young Done

Since 2014, the Oud Geleerd Jong Gedaan Foundation has been organizing lectures for seniors, given by students. In a series of four lectures, students talk about their field or passion. We offer a challenging activity to elderly people with and without dementia, so that they can come into contact with others and do something other than play bingo and crafts. We do this in libraries, community centers and nursing homes in the Netherlands. This year we will reach more than 6000 senior citizens and 300 students.

CORONA: This volunteer work is "coronaproof". You can help safely and your help is very much appreciated, especially now.

Profile students

We are again looking for motivated students for the Utrecht region who want to strengthen our student teacher team and thus offer the elderly a cognitive challenge.

...a Bachelor, Master or PhD student (or graduated max. 3 years ago) with a passion for your field?

...not afraid to speak in front of groups? Or do you want to work on your presentation skills with our guidance?

...involved in the well-being of seniors?
