ICT Administrator SharePoint and Office 365 (unpaid)

Who are we?

SIW is a versatile Dutch non-profit exchange organization (NGO). For 65 years, SIW has been receiving foreign volunteers on various projects in the Netherlands and Dutch volunteers have been sent to projects all over the world. In total, this concerns approximately 250 broadcasts and receptions per year. SIW falls under three international networks (Alliance, CCIVS and SCI).

SIW's mission is to encourage people to broaden their horizons. SIW does this by bringing volunteers into contact with other cultures. In this way, SIW wants to increase intercultural understanding, contribute to the personal development of volunteers and encourage them to dedicate themselves to a better society “For and by volunteers”.

The activities of SIW are organized by approximately 70 enthusiastic voluntary employees, supported by an office in the heart of Utrecht.

What are you going to do?

As an ICT Administrator SharePoint and Office 365 you are responsible for the optimal functioning of this infrastructure of SIW, more specifically:

· Together with the other ICT Managers, you optimize the ICT infrastructure of SIW so that employees can perform their tasks efficiently, both from the office and from home.

· You pay specific attention to the optimal functioning and use of Office 365, and to the security of the system and the digital work environment.

· In collaboration with the P&O Manager, you create (and close) email addresses and authorizations for the SharePoint environment.

Of course you are not alone, you work closely with the other ICT Managers and the other employees within SIW.

Who are you?

· You are enthusiastic about the projects, objectives and mission of SIW;

You have extensive experience with Office 365, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, etc.

· You have experience in managing, maintaining and securing networks and the digital work environment.

· You have insight into the application possibilities of these products and how they can be used in a user- and management-friendly way;

· You enjoy helping others to develop in this area;

· You have good communication skills ;

· You do not shy away from administrative work and you can work accurately;

· You also help to promote SIW to potential participants, for example on information days/evenings, at trade fairs, school meetings and/or on social media;

· You intend to commit yourself to this position for at least 2 years (average 2 hours per week);

· You preferably live in the Utrecht area;

· People with a multicultural background and/or involved in the education of young people are explicitly invited to apply.
