Since 2009, U in de Wijk Productions has provided weekly neighborhood television in the Utrecht neighborhoods of Overvecht, Kanaleneiland, Zuilen, Ondiep and Leidsche Rijn/Vleuten-De Meern. Residents themselves report on developments and events in their neighbourhood. They do this under professional supervision. Each neighborhood has its own program that can be seen weekly on Ustad, the local channel of RTV Utrecht. U in de Wijk has a distinctly different sound than the established media: on a smaller scale, with attention to positive developments and an eye for the people who make up the neighbourhood.

What do you do as Camera m/v Wijk TV van U in de Wijk?

Are you adept at operating a camera and do you like to go out and search for all the beauty in our Utrecht neighborhoods? Then we are looking for you!

Together with a reporter - neighborhood resident - you go into the neighborhoods and run reports on location.

A professional video supervisor ensures that the reports are properly edited and broadcast worthy.
