Since 2009, U in de Wijk Productions has provided weekly neighborhood television in the Utrecht neighborhoods of Overvecht, Kanaleneiland, Zuilen, Ondiep and Leidsche Rijn/Vleuten-De Meern. Residents themselves report on developments and events in their neighbourhood. They do this under professional supervision. Each neighborhood has its own program that can be seen weekly on Ustad, the local channel of RTV Utrecht.

U in de Wijk has a distinctly different sound than the established media: on a smaller scale, with attention to positive developments and an eye for the people who make up the neighbourhood.

What do you do as a reporter Wijk TV van U in de Wijk?

Do you live in one of the above neighborhoods and are you proud of your neighbourhood? Do you want to show what your neighborhood has to offer? Then we are looking for you! Together with an editorial team of reporters - residents of the area - and cameramen, you will search the area for topics for reports. You make contacts, make appointments and run the report on location in the district. A professional video supervisor ensures that the reports are properly edited and broadcast worthy.
